InnoYouth Hack: Innovating for Employment

Our mission is to empower South Africa's unemployed youth aged 18-25 through an immersive, two-day virtual hackathon that focuses on developing innovative business ideas and solutions for the job market.

Participants will collaborate in teams, harnessing their creativity and problem-solving skills to address the pressing challenges faced by South African youth. Guided by experienced mentors and industry experts, they’ll journey from ideation to pitching their solutions. This event is completely free, ensuring equal access to opportunities for aspiring young leaders.​

INTRODUCTION
The program kicks off with an introductory session, where participants will meet their mentors and receive a comprehensive overview of the event agenda and expectations.

PROGRAM
Participants will join teams of 4 and collaborate with dedicated mentors to develop business models and conduct market research. This hands-on approach ensures their innovative ideas can be transformed into actionable solutions.

End goal
The program ends with an exciting pitch session, where each team presents their business ideas to a panel of judges. After all the presentations, the winning team will be announced with R5,000 team cash prize and R15,000 in business support. T&C's apply
